Calenders
Jaygo supplies Calenders
designed for frictioning of fabrics, single or double coating of
fabrics, sheeting applications, etc... They are custom designed
precision machines available with two, three, or four roll
configurations in different diameters and lengths for the rubber and
plastic polymer industries.
Product type, specific gravity, PLI, widths, thickness, temperatures,
required accuracy, and required production determine design parameters.
Sophisticated Calenders with self-aligning roller bearings, cross axis
or roll bending mechanisms, pre-loaders, direct drives, motorized nip
adjustments, etc... are offered for precision products.
The material of construction of the rolls is carefully chosen for each
specific application. Rolls are constructed of either low alloy cast
iron or spheroidal graphite iron. Drilled rolls are offered where
required for better hear transfer.
Jaygo offers an extensive range of post and pre-calender lines as well.
