Rubber Compound Extruders is best
utilized for the extrusion of rubber
treads, sheets, hoses, or coating beads
with cross heads. The extruders are
manufactured with all the latest
technological features (some of which
are optional) such as Swing-Type Feed
Roll Mechanisms, Fully Hydraulically
Operated Die Heads, Hollow Shaft,
Integral Thrust Bearing Housing, etc...
The Extruder’s screws are the heart of
the machine and their profiles are
specially designed for quick and
homogenous mixing, biting (at the feed
zone), and for creating correct and
accurate throughput and porosity-free
compounds. The construction material for
the Extruders comprises of carefully
selected special alloys with the best
thermal treatments available to develop
the best mechanical properties. Critical
areas are coated with special alloys for
wear protection and to ensure
long-lasting, trouble-free, smooth, and
continuous running for many years. The
extruders are offered in many sizes as
per the customer's requirement.
Typical
Machine Features:
- Feed
Hopper designed with special spiral
cut to suit strip at feed points.
Hopper includes provisions for
heating/cooling medium circulation
for temperature control
- Integral
thrust bearing in the hollow output
shaft gear reducer unit, making sure
the screw runs absolutely concentric
to the liners. This design makes it
especially easy to fit and remove
the screw.
- Single
steel fabricated base to mount drive
units and to hold machine rigidly
and vibration free.
- Both plain
and pin barrel type extruders
offered with or without provision
for vacuum.
