The sample can be taken out while
the unit is still under pressure or
vacuum. This means that the
pressure or vacuum in the system
will not be disturbed during this
process.
Sample from process vessels without
interruption of the mixing process.
The Lunar Sampling Valve does not
extend into the mixing area, rather
the interior plug stays flush with
the vessel wall until you want a
sample, then, the plug pulls into
the valve allowing material to flow
in the sample glass. Sample
under pressure or vacuum.
By removing the sample glass and
installing a flange at the sample
outlet, the valve then becomes a
standard flush plug valve.
