Jaygo’s product line of Two Roll Mixing Mills (plain barrel or cracker, i.e. one roll fluted) are used as follows:

• As dump mills below an internal mixer for compounding and sheeting out
• As warm-up and feed mills for calendars and extruders
• For re-mixing
• For plain compounding and mixing

Compounds may be of rubber, plastic, polymer, or tile compound.  The mills are available in various sizes, with bushings or self-aligning roller bearings, and manual or motorized nip adjustments.  The mills are heavily constructed to mix newer and tougher compounds in a silent, trouble-free manner, and are very durable and reliable in operation.  The mills are manufactured as per rigid international standards with many attractive features and options.

• Special close grained centrifugally cast, bushings / bearings of special wear resistant copper alloy.
• Rolls from special alloy chilled cast iron with uniform wall thickness.
• Special design at necks to withstand high impact loads.
• Single I-beam base structure to mount mill and drives for rigidity and for mounting vibration dampers.
• Heavy duty swing-type guides are provided with Polyamide or Delrin liners and thick polyamide center-plates.
• Special alloy steel connecting gears, heat treated and hardened for durable, long life.

Models with varying sizes and with different combinations of technical specifications may be available to suit customer’s requirements.
